Fostering Better Diplomacy in the Americas
The Center for Engegement and Advocacy in the Americas (CEDA) is a non-partisan non-profit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration and implementing impactful solutions across the Americas. In a landscape where Latin America and the Caribbean often occupy the periphery of U.S. foreign policy, CEDA strives to elevate these regions and amplify the voices of those affected by policies, advocating for a diverse agenda encompassing economic, social, and environmental justice. We seek solutions that broaden the policy lens, bridging the gap between policy and people, and nurturing inclusive, collaborative approaches to tackle root causes and generate lasting impact.
As the Americas grapple with challenges that span national boundaries - from political violence to displacement to the climate crisis - regional approaches and solutions are increasingly essential. Drawing on our 18-year legacy of promoting regional understanding and cooperation, our mission transcends mere advocacy; it is about knitting together a tapestry of collaborative partnerships, founded on mutual respect and constructive dialogue. These partnerships pave the way for policies that amplify the voices, rights, dignity, and well-being of individuals throughout the Americas.
